Basic Info
Bio
So I noticed that I lost somebody else from the f-list, I would like to be able to say I am upset by it, but I would be lying, life is too short to worry about who likes you and who doesn't and why, it's also too short to worry about who said what to whom and when, especially when it comes to cyber-space. And after all a journal is just that a journal and really only supplies a snapshot of who you may be, nothing more; it is a self edited version of a fragment of your personality.

It's a fragment of myself I like though, but I am not under the illusion that it helps me get to know people better, or for them to get to know me; actually meeting, talking to and getting to know people is how you get to make friends. But this journalling thing is a bit of harmless, time wasting fun, that provides a creative outlet and a sounding board that just standing in the street and grabbing random strangers and asking their opinion would not give.

Therefore I have made a decision, there is going to be nothing on this journal that I wouldn't grab a random stranger on the street and ask their opinion of, and I shall henceforth be abandoning the concept of an f-list, everything from here on in will be open for any person to read, use and abuse as they see fit. After all if you can't own your own words, perhaps, what you want to say shouldn't be said.

What I have to share will be, open for all to see, not hidden, not secret, with head held high and on occaision with proud defiance.

Current Favourite Poem

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

Alone by Edgar Allan Poe
